To Whom It May Concern:

These blogs based on the people and events from the circus.  However, it is not just any circus.  This circus comes from the life of my alter ego, Mavis Rose Sinclair, “Panty Dealer Extraordinaire”: Hippo Trainer With a Wooden Leg.  I live vicariously through her.  I take every day events and people from my life and transform them into characters in Mavis’ imaginary circus existence.  With this, I am able to create an exciting parallel world from which I construct ornate micro narratives of the events and characters from Ms. Sinclair’s life.   I intend these tiny decadent sculptures to lure the viewer into Mavis’ life as if they were an audience member enjoying a performance.  Each piece is an insightful glimpse into characters and events in her life and incedently mine.  Many of these blogs are the narratives that accompany my artworks.  Soon, I will have more images of the artworks that correspond with the stories.  But, for now, happy reading!
